Georgia vs Georgia Tech

I would have loved to have had the Alabama/Va Tech game they had in Atlanta. It seemed that we found a good thing with the Bama/FSU game a few years ago and Atlanta took it from us. It would be great to have something like Tennessee/Miami or Auburn/FSU in Jax.

Atlanta didn't take the Bama/VaTech game from us, it was just a more fair site in terms of distance for VaTech. The site is determined years in advance, likely before the Bama-FSU game in 2007.

It is no big deal, FSU may have more games here eventually. Bowden and the Athletics Dept. have stated they enjoyed Jacksonville and would like to play here again soon.

We have more pressing football games already scheduled to be played in Jax to worry about.  FL/GA works because our stadium is roughly in the middle (Lake City would technically be better geographically).  Other than a UM/ Clemson, or some other ACC game where the teams are actually on opposite sides of Jax, no game really makes sense.
