Mayor Peyton Delivers Keynote Address at 12:30 p.m.



JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Aug. 27, 2009 â€" Partnering with the University of North Florida, the City of Jacksonville’s Environmental Protection Board will host the “Sustainability for Jacksonville’s Future Environmental Symposium.”  The symposium will benefit environmental professionals, engineers, planners, consultants, service providers, residents and other stakeholders.  Panel discussions will include sustainability, nuclear energy, water supply assessment, alternate energy and St. Johns River issues.



In addition, afternoon sessions will include the release of the “2009 State of the River Report” and the “2009 River Accord Annual Report.”



            NOTE:  There is no charge for persons interested in attending the panel discussion on the St. Johns River beginning at 3 p.m.  The morning sessions are closed for further registration.
