White Way Deli applies to the area of town where it was formed. Even though now most people would associate the area as Park & King

Charles Hunter

Ribault - the section of town and the HS
Laudenairre - a subdivision off Ft. Caroline Road
Timucuan - the preserve, and with a slightly different spelling (Timuquana) a road on the westside

oops, sorry, those aren't business - my bad

The restaurant in the old Sears store downtown was called the Ribault Room.
The tourist would realize at once that he had struck the Land of Flowers - the City Beautiful!

Jacksonville Traction Co.

Nice catch Lunican, and here I sit thinking of "The Jean Ribault" or the former "Buccaneer," Ferry.

Not sure if they're a bona fide business or a product of the stadium, but it seems to me that there's a vendor in the Bud Zone and a couple of other locations that sell barbecue with an Andrew Jackson logo & name - it was pretty good stuff as I recall - can anyone clarify?

Wacca Pilatka

Yes, there's an Andrew Jackson's BBQ at the stadium.

Add Latitude 30 Entertainment Complex to the list as the T-U has reported that it's named after Jacksonville’s location on a map...........

The old pushcart market on the ground floor of the Landing was named for Dawson & Buckles, who I think were the proprietors of the first store in Jacksonville.
You are correct!!  and Please!  Just visit the Founders Food Hall (AKA The Food Court at The Landing) and see the 17 named silhouettes hanging from the ceiling.  They are among the founders of this city!
