^It doesn't bother me.  When people start acting in that manner, it typically means you're getting the best of them in a debate.  In this case, its clear that mtraininjax has no idea of what he is talking about.  There's too much factual information out there on this subject he continues to downplay or ignore to think otherwise.

Our schools need to be funded consistently from a dedicated funding source.  Taking short term funds from other projects is no way to budget for the long term success of our schools.

Keep in mind that in the 1920's, most cities of any size at all HAD STREETCAR RAIL !!!!!!!!!!!


WE HAVE DONE THIS BEFORE, when we were a much less prosperous nation.

BTW, the development springing from the Charlotte LRT is in the billions now.  They are looking everywhere they can to find money to expand it.
