Ottis Toole was always suspected of killing Adam Walsh...he even confessed, but later recanted. I know that John Walsh always believed this serial killer killed is son, and now Toole's soon to be named officially as his killer. Toole was born here in Jax and lived in Springfiled

Toole, from Springfield, was arrested in Jacksonville in 1982 in an arson murder case. Police also linked him to Lucas, who was in jail in Texas at the time. Terry said he spent about a year on-and-off interviewing Toole, who confessed to a series of crimes. At one point, he told Terry about killing Adam after searching for a child to abduct and return to Jacksonville to raise.
