HiReformance Institute to open location in the Greenleaf Building

Jacksonville-based fitness studio HiReformance Institute will open a location in the historic Greenleaf & Crosby building at 200 N. Laura St.

This will mark the fitness brand's third location in the Jacksonville area. JWB owns the Greenleaf building.

The Urban Division of Colliers in Jacksonville announced that the tenant signed the lease to take up as much as 1,700 square feet of ground floor space, next to Oak Steakhouse, in posts to social media.

EXACTLY the type of uses that Laura Street needs to really come to life, and a great amenity to attract residential.

This is great! As Ken_FSU said, the more amenities we can get downtown, from gyms to general stores to grocers, the better!

Nice. 

I do miss Jacobs Jewelers from shopping their in the 1970's.  Was a top notch store in its day.  Those full line stores hardly exist today... not just jewelry, but silverware, china, crystal, serving pieces, cookware, artisan gifts, porcelain knickknacks, watches and so much more.  Gen Z has little to no interest in those more "formal" items used to entertain or decorate at home.  They seem to mostly prefer clean-line, "uncluttered" contemporary and the casual dining spot instead  .

There used to be a YMCA branch downtown.  Any news on that returning?

P.S. Just trying to counter-balance the JTA U2C propaganda machine.  Emperor is naked and City Hall isn't calling it out.  Leave it to the Jaxson to do that.
