Alvin Brown (remember him?) is suing the Trump Administration

Alvin Brown, a Democratic member of the National Transportation Safety Board nominated by President Biden, was fired from his post in May 2025. In his lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court on Tuesday, Brown said that political differences couldn't have been the main reason for his firing from the NTSB. Brown's lawyers, who work for the Democracy Forward Foundation, also claim that 75 percent of Black officials at independent agencies have been fired under Trump.

Go get him, Alvin!

An interesting historical lesson from World War 1, by Thom Hartman. He talks about how European nations had interlocking defense agreements in 1914, and how Iran has defense agreements with both China and Russia.

QuoteSo what happens when a U.S. destroyer orders a Chinese-flagged tanker to heave to in the Strait of Hormuz and a Chinese warship sails between them? Trump has to choose between backing down — and watching the blockade collapse — or firing on the naval vessel of a country with roughly 400 nuclear warheads.

I was thinking that might be him trying to resurrect Charlie Kirk? Tying into Easter? Looks like it passes his DEI ban too.  Is that Tinkerbell in his hand  ;D .

Trump is out of his mind. Let's hope it doesn't come to this.

Trump Presidency #2 is now officially a disaster.  Unbelievable blowback this week against him, his handpicked candidates and anyone else who supported him without question.  May be unprecedented in American elections.  Even DeSantis called it an extinction event for the GOP.  Will be fun to watch how fast the GOP abandons lame duck and albatross Trump for the next 24 months.

Losses at every level:  House, Senate, Governorships, State Legislatures and Cabinet/Commission offices, dog catcher... you name it.  Republicans lost.

Even though the GOP hung on to statewide races in Florida, DeSantis admitted they might have lost if they didn't ride on the coattails of Amendment 3.

If the GOP doesn't change course, I can see Florida flipping in 2 more years.
