Nobody has a more real and true mascot than Florida State.  A true blue Seminole Indian on a stately horse wielding a REAL spear.  There is nothing furry and fuzzy about that.  Cheif Osceola is the man!   

Um, pull the wig off of the noble & proud Chief & you'll get a blue-eyed, blonde haired frat boy.......

OK - Truce.

Although not collegiate, it cannot be overlooked - One thing that I think we can ALL agree on is that JAXSON DEVILLE is hands down the best thing going in the NFL -  No other team's mascot even comes close to pulling off the daredevil stunts & theatrics as this "cat".

If there is a large, overstuffed NFL mascot that plays the villain role as well as the Raider Nation does, it's Jaxson De Ville.

This is the mascot whose foul behavior actually caused the NFL to make rules changes to restrict just how ornery a mascot is allowed to get with an opposing team.

This is no cartoon character. This is no comedy act. Lord help you if you ever mistake this Jaguar for Chester the Cheetah or Tony the Tiger, because you'll need catlike speed and reflexes to escape your doom.

You got that right blizz!!  Jaxson Deville is absolutely nuts!  Anyone know who the guy is uner the suit?  I can't believe the stunts this guy pulls off.  Where do I sign up!?

I have met him through friends on a couple of occasions although I would presume that he prefers to remain anonymous.  I can say that he was also a college mascot for a team formerly in the Big East (now ACC) & is happily married to a former member of the Roar.  He is just as nuts in person - no fear & hilarious.

I don't think he prefers to be that anonymous.  He regularly (or at least, used to) appear on one of the local Top 40 station's morning show every Friday.  I want to say it was the Big Ape but it escapes me at the moment.  They'd introduce him by his real name and not as 'Jaxson."  Kinda killed it for me - I'd have preferred the anonymity of it.
