Yes, but the RTS in Gainesville is much more comprehensive and efficient, for obvious reasons. (not a shot at JTA...gainesville, and particularly the UF-area, is much smaller)

There are roughly 50,000 students at UF, and only about 5,000 spaces for on-campus housing. Not sure about the commuter parking numbers, but it's only a fraction of the difference. What that means? Most people have to take the bus to school and back. I don't think the situation is the same at UNF.

I like the idea of students taking mass transit...but I'll wait til we have good mass transit before I subject them to it. I think a direct shuttle will probably make more sense for the university.
