I think a really cool location would be the old marble bank building on the corner of Laura St and Forsyth St. If you look at their website, it shows one that looks to be in an old bank building!

That would be an awesome place for a pub...  or even the building with the picture of the jaguar painted on the windows, I forget what the name of that building is on the corner of Ocean/Bay....

That's the Bostwick Building.  Its in pretty rough shape.

i dont know. It could've been a different place but I am positive the restaurant was called "elephant and castle." It was upscale-ish (not by NYC standards though), and extremely tiny. That may have been the reason for closing...it had no room to expand at all. But the dinner food was terrific. Pricey but worth it imo.

QuoteHello!

Many thanks for your email.

Unfortunately we do not have a new store opening in Jacksonville.  Elephant and Castle have been experiencing problems with advertisers spamming our brand on Craig’s List, and therefore the advertisement you may have seen is false.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Best wishes,

Doris

In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Jason

Maybe they should put spam on the menu?!
