I swear I saw some people talking about a new Mexican Restaurant somewhere on Edgewood Avenue but Ive been unable to find the thread, can anyone give me some info? JC is trying to find somewhere new, good, and cheap to have our staff meeting tomorrow night.

Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated, try to keep your ideas in Riverside, Avondale, Murray Hill and Downtown.  Thanks.

there's a mexican place on the corner of Edgewood and College across from the church called La Fiesta, it's been there a while though

La Fiesta is the only Mexican place on Edgewood that I know of.  I've eaten there a few times and can honestly say that they have the best queso in town.  The place isn't much to look at, but the food is very good and affordable.

Thats got to be it then. I decided to go to good ol La Nopalera tonight, but will try La Fiesta another time.

Thanks

Ya, it's been there like a year or so. I drive by it a few times a week but have never tried it.

It used to be Sandwich Heaven for the longest time, and their food (lunch only) was sooooooooooo good. Like everything else that's good around here and locally-owned, the owners decided to cash in and sold the place, then the new owners ran it into the ground by doubling the prices at the same time they reduced the food quality. I don't know why that same process gets repeated so often...

Anyway, somebody give it a shot and post a review.
