Jags win in Indy

I don't know if it was the hottest but it was up there. I seem to remember a game with Tennessee in 2001 that was hotter. It was the first game after 9/11.

This guy is an ELITE cornerback in the NFL!!!!Anyone that dogs #27 is one of those college-minded yahoos that don't know crap about pro football!!!!!!!When the "great" CB's for SD, BAL, DEN etc get burned no one says anything, but let Reshean get burned one time, and he's the worst in the league!!!Note to stupid #27 haters........NFL CB's often get burned, esp. when they play man coverage. #27 haters can BYTE ME!!!!!!!!!

He's getting talked about so that means he is respected.  They can talk all the smack they want, but by just talking about him it is press ofr the team.  Mathis usually shuts them all up when he snags the next INT.  Don't sweat it.

If you like him so much then at least spell his name right. Rashean is an excellent cornerback but he's still struggling to get back to the form he had in '06. Maybe he never will. I really don't know.

I will hate on Florence though. He needs to get his act together, especially with Scott Starks at less than 100%.

Mathis did seem to be beat more than once in that game and who cares about other CB I am only worried about the Jags. Pass defense is still an issue for this team as other issue but the Jags will rebound they never seem to be a fast starting team at the start of the season.

I like Mathis. I don't think he gets beat more than most corners in the league. With the new rules, it's tough to play corner. Look at last week's Philly-Dallas game. Lito Sheppard and Terrence Newman were getting beat the whole game. Both are very solid corners.
