Food truck court to open downtown

Seems like a good idea to me. I doubt the presence of four food trucks will hurt the downtown restaurants in any appreciable way, at least I'd hope not.

I also hope they create some sort of online presence that has the schedule of what food trucks will be there on what day. I'm not the type of person that is looking for a potluck during the lunch hour.

Usually a good place to find out where the Food Trucks will be for the day.

Brilliant use of that space - I'd love permanent retail but this is the next best thing.

This is such a wonderful idea and will create some activity along the length of the parking garage.

Kudos to Mike and Jack for replacing dead space with life.  This makes good sense, as it adds a little more energy to the core center ... providing more food options not only for workers and residents but especially for core visitors.

The slight competition to the existing brick and mortar food establishments will encourage review of menus and service, thereby raising both to higher levels.  I suspect that all will win simply because the increased energy and service will draw more from the outside, and perhaps allow some few to entertain more the idea of moving into the core as a business, a worker, or a resident.

^Yes. The wide sidewalk in front of the new parking garage on Hogan.
