Sed quis custodiet ipsos cutodes (Who watches the watchmen?)

In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

"If we bring not the good courage of minds covetous of truth, and truth only, prepared to hear all things, and decide upon all things, according to evidence, we should do more wisely to sit down contented in ignorance, than to bestir ourselves only to reap disappointment."

My apologies to the political cartoon junkies who visit daily.  There has been some sort of cosmic upheaval in the fabric of political humor.  Unfortunately it looks like 68 pages and two years worth of history may be lost.

This sucks... :-[ :'(

Are these trojan cartoons going through a patdown lately before they take to the blogosphere to release their stinkbombs on the rest of us?

this cartoon is in very bad taste.

Imagine if there was a cartoon or a notation every time a vet wtih PTSD who murdered or committed a crime.

There may very well be, in some newspaper, in some other country, that the vet crossed illegally into and joined a gang with other vets with ptsd and murdered a local.

Please... by all means... feel free to post more "politically correct" political cartoons... ::)

I am saying that political cartoons by definition are offensive to someone.  This particular cartoonist finds it offensive that in his opinion certain facts regarding the coverage regarding the convicted murderer are under reported.

WOW!!!

Even in my limited capacity, I get it, so why are you, Stephen, trying to make this about immigrants and continuing to omit the 'illegal' aspect?

Are we supposed to 'whitewash' the fact that someone is here, and not supposed to be, affiliated with a gang (MS-13 isn't exactly the mexican boyscouts) and commited a murder?  Or are we supposed to look ONLY at Ingmar Gandique, the respectable 'citizen' that was just 'in the wrong place, at the wrong time.'
