Sed quis custodiet ipsos cutodes (Who watches the watchmen?)

BridgeTroll

In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Ok, so it's not strictly political and it's not a cartoon but...

It wasn't removed just commented on how much taking it is needed in your opinion.  I agree we are all hypocrites.

I don't see it as a shot a Steve Jobs. More like a jab at the occupiers. Too soon? Probably. In poor taste? Maybe. Inaccurate? I haven't seen any signs mentioning Jobs being an obect of the protest. Mostly (and rightly) the signs are directed at bankers.

Please ignore smiley thing. It was the only way I could figure out to get the cursor into the dialogue box from my blackberry. Outmoded tech ftw!   Time for an iPhone.  :)

What are the chances of 99% of the Occupy protesters using thier own IPhones to Tweet hate messages to corporate America - Pots and Kettles, Stephen, Pots and Kettles.

(BTW, see the DA Church protest....)
A common mistake people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

I don't see how it could be interpreted any other way than the two "Wall St." people directing their remarks at  Steve Jobs.

If nothing else, a comic is being made of a man who did in fact touch many lives and has just passed away?    Really?

I agree with the previous posters who do not believe that the cartoon was intended to attack the late Steve Jobs.  I think that it was a jab at the Occupy Wall Street folks who, in the cartoon, are condemning the very company that supplied their iPods, iPhones and iPads.  I also agree that it was too soon for someone to draw the cartoon and/or the artist could have used more of a feather and less of a sledgehammer in getting his/her point across.
