There were 60k in attendance for the cochella festival in California where the Decemberist played, but Obama did go on after they were done, so alot of people did stay for him. Either way a good comment I read earlier was that he IS a politician and those types are known to use various methods to assemble large gatherings for their campaigns...crazy I know!
