FSCJ would have to change its name under Senate community college proposal

I never really liked the FSCJ...just the combination of Florida and State sounds too muCh like FSU. Duval Metropolitan State College,  Metropolitan College of Jacksonville, its many combinations they could use. Just stay away from the FSU, UNF, JU sounding names. Lots of potential to have their own identity.

I totally agree.  There was a lack of creativity going on there.  I was most surprised that FSU went along with the new name...
