Fanatics establishing new Jax manufacturing facility, upgrading distribution hub

Jacksonville-based sports apparel retail giant Fanatics is upgrading its Commonwealth Avenue distribution center and is leasing a facility on the Westside to accommodate its custom apparel line.

The new facility on the Westside is designed to give the company room for its burgeoning made-to-order products operations, including things like jerseys with custom names or numbers or quick-turn-around items, such as products created when a team wins a major championship. Fanatics has done this sort of work in other states such as Kentucky.
