They are all new. The restrooms were increased in size.

Yes, but you have to be specific on which theater we're talking about. The little theater took the bigest VE hit. Most value engineering was on finishes in the Moran. For example those walls around the 2nd and 3rd level boxes are faux paint and not mahagany panels. Acoustics in the Moran were tempered and tuned by the sound system since it is designed for amplified events. The  level under the balcony will have "blah" spots if the house system is not used. The Jacoby has active tuned acoustics. Sound in the Jacoby is/was excellent. One needed to guard against loose lips since without crowd noise you could hear people talking on stage from the balcony. Musicians called it a "live" room.    Acoustically both theaters passed sound tests at time of commissioning. But it was all 17 years ago. The Moran opened early about 17.5 years ago. Who knows what has happened since.

Is there an average life span/expectancy for these type of venues?
