Letters to editor hits all time Times Union low. Someone doesn't like Jimmy

If someone doesn't like you they now can dis you on the letters to the editor page. I honestly don't know that much about what Jimmy Carter has done lately but I would hope that if someone would want to insult someone (even if he wasn't once president) at least the insulter would mention why he is insulting the insultee so I (or any reader) could also form an opinion (other than I didn't realize it might be slow news day)

Failure was not a 'fluke'

How unfortunate it is that we cannot impeach former President Carter.

How unfortunate it is that we cannot somehow bring this poor, disillusioned soul before the court of proper and dignified behavior as he glides around the world making a fool of himself and embarrassing our country!

Given his obvious hatred of Israel and his self-centered love of self, this man has once again proved that his failure as U.S. president was no fluke. He is a flawed human totally without shame.
