The thursday night game on NFL Network will be shown on a local station right? I don't want to miss that game

NFL Policy requires that for any game televised on cable, the markets for the competing teams will have one "over the air" station, provided the game is not blacked out

Monday Night against Houston. What kind of bull...?

From a NFL fan's (non-Jags) prospective, I can kinda see the pessimistic POV concerning the Jax vs. Hou game, but if you're a Jag fan, I don't know how you can't get pumped for that game.  The Texans are a team that put us outta the playoffs a coupla years ago! You can play sixteen games against Indy, BTW a team that don't respect us as a true rival. Screw Indy! We're goin' 19-0! I can't wait until the season starts!

I wouldn't completely guarantee a Pittsburgh/Green Bay/Cleveland win.

Remember, the Jaguars always have their "lay an egg" game.  Here's how I see it play out:

1 Sun, Sep 7 at Tennessee 1:00 PM (Win - Remember Last Year?)
2 Sun, Sep 14 Buffalo 1:00 PM (Win)
3 Sun, Sep 21 at Indianapolis 4:15 PM (Loss)
4 Sun, Sep 28 Houston 1:00 PM (Win)
5 Sun, Oct 5 Pittsburgh 8:15 PM (Win, but will be very close)
6 Sun, Oct 12 at Denver 4:05 PM (Win)
8 Sun, Oct 26 Cleveland 4:05 PM (Loss - Lay an Egg Game)
9 Sun, Nov 2 at Cincinnati 1:00 PM (Win)
10 Sun, Nov 9 at Detroit 1:00 PM (Win - they're the Lions)
11 Sun, Nov 16 Tennessee 1:00 PM (Win)
12 Sun, Nov 23 Minnesota 1:00 PM (Win)
13 Mon, Dec 1 at Houston 8:30 PM (Loss - never played them well, and on the road in Houston's only PT Game)
14 Sun, Dec 7 at Chicago 1:00 PM (Win)
15 Sun, Dec 14 Green Bay 1:00 PM (Loss - I'm impressed with Aaron Rodgers)
16 Thu, Dec 18 Indianapolis 8:15 PM (Win)
17 Sun, Dec 28 at Baltimore 1:00 PM (Win, unless there is nothing to play for)

That will get them to 12-4.

Not a bad take.  The Jags have an amazing prime-time record and because of the fact that two of the three are at home they should be 3-0 with the national audience.  IMO, the "Lay and egg" game will be a divisional one.  Similar to a couple years back when it seemed the losing Texans had their number.

Green Bay will lose some of their thunder without Favre but may get it together late in the season to give the Jags a fight.  Still predict a win though.

Chicago, Cinci, and Cleveland should all be wins (assuming history repeats itself).

I wouldn't completely guarantee a Pittsburgh/Green Bay/Cleveland win.

I was thinking the exact same thing man!! Those were the sadface games I had on my list. But all in all the worst is 10-6. Thats the worst record I see happening this season. If they go 9-7 or worse it will be a disaster!!

Here are my predictions...

1 Sun, Sep 7 at Tennessee 1:00 PM (Loss - Tenn is strong and up & coming and we are notorious for starting the season slow - and AT Tenn)
2 Sun, Sep 14 Buffalo 1:00 PM (Win)
3 Sun, Sep 21 at Indianapolis 4:15 PM (Win - a surprise)
4 Sun, Sep 28 Houston 1:00 PM (Win)
5 Sun, Oct 5 Pittsburgh 8:15 PM (Loss - the two teams are very close and we have won the last 2 -give them this one)
6 Sun, Oct 12 at Denver 4:05 PM (Win)
8 Sun, Oct 26 Cleveland 4:05 PM (Win)
9 Sun, Nov 2 at Cincinnati 1:00 PM (Loss)
10 Sun, Nov 9 at Detroit 1:00 PM (Win - but closer than you might think)
11 Sun, Nov 16 Tennessee 1:00 PM (Win)
12 Sun, Nov 23 Minnesota 1:00 PM (Win)
13 Mon, Dec 1 at Houston 8:30 PM (Win - it's a Monday night game that we won't lose)
14 Sun, Dec 7 at Chicago 1:00 PM (Win - this one could be very close though)
15 Sun, Dec 14 Green Bay 1:00 PM (Win)
16 Thu, Dec 18 Indianapolis 8:15 PM (Loss)
17 Sun, Dec 28 at Baltimore 1:00 PM (Win)

So...yeah, I see a 12-4 season...and agree with Cooly that anything less than 10-6 is a poor season for this team.
