dilemma??? Which one of these guys is bad enough to play on Team Stud's roster of delinquents?

I don't think either of them have the pedigree for team Stud. If you are going with a Steeler, it has to be Roethlisburger or Martavis Bryant. Just pass on these two. Let those with a later pick, maybe say the third overall make that decision.

Team Stud has standards and he doesn't value wasting high picks on QBs. Pencil in blackballed Kaep over the weird guy who hangs out in lady's restrooms at the bar.

To Bell's credit, he did get arrested for possession of marijuana, was suspended a few games for violating the league's substance abuse policy and has been holding out this preseason. So this guy is no Blake Bortles.

To Antonio Brown's credit, both his former trainer and personal chef claim he's an asshole. Evidently, he's the opposite of Chad Henne. Assholes and holdouts who believe they are more important individually than the team can both have a spot of Team Stud's roster.

Team Stud has identified its 1st round selection and made a decision on its draft strategy for tonight. No Mellow for me. I'll do my draft at home.

Team Stud's plans didn't play off. With Ajayi already in the fold, the strategy was to end up with 3 MVP level players by taking a high end WR with the 1st pick and hoping Zeke Elliott's suspension would make him available by the 24th pick. West Ham blew that up, selecting Zeke with the 19th pick. Also figured I'd get DeVante Parker as a steal in the 6th. He's going to be Cutler's boy this year. Well, he got snapped up two spots before my selection. Overall, I'm not concerned. This team will win or lose the season with its RB and WR positions. Got some decent talent at both.  We'll just have to see how it plays out during the course of the season.

When Gekko and I first discussed the possibility of taking AR with the 16th pick we knew we had to keep it under wraps. We did hundreds of mock drafts....never once taking him so high. The disinformation campaign was relentless--in coffee shops, we mocked people who drafted QB so high.

The key was getting our #1 target at 9...when Mike Evans name was called, the cheers in the war room could be heard by the hookers on Phillips to the One Percenters on River Road.  With Melvin Gordon in the fold, Operation AR was now a go.

The effect on the draft was noticeable. Confusion.Awe. Suddenly, everyone was doubting everything they thought they knew about fantasy football. Doubt was creeping in.

Then Hunt falls to us at 40. Gekko and I did a high five. Our back field now looked like our brokerage accounts.

At this point, the draft room was stunned at what had been built with the 9th pick. They had said it couldn't be done.People had no idea what to do. Picks taking forever...time even being used up and default picks being made. We calmly scooped up the WR we had been targeting while indecision reigned around us.

I felt like W on Iraq: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

What could go wrong?

...Also figured I'd get DeVante Parker as a steal in the 6th. He's going to be Cutler's boy this year. Well, we got snapped up two spots before my selection.

That Parker pick was a real let down for you. Imagine the receiving core you could have had pairing Parker with AB and Benjamin. Such a missed opportunity. You will be looking back at that all season thinking about the one that got away. And to make it worse Parker sits on my bench due to my abundance of riches. Once Luck and the Muscle Hampster returns, this team will run itself on a coin flip with all this talent.

And I don't feel inspired enough to write much of anything today, but I'd like to politely point out that this is the 5th (?) year in a row that Jack B More has won the offseason with no real chance to parlay that into a winning season.

I called it when you picked, but if it happens, it's only 6 games at the most and where you drafted him, still positive value IMO.

pretty sure this is only the 2nd year in a row where I have had the best draft - and I was pretty close to the championship game last year - the Jags haven't done that in this century.

I believe it is how good you are at dealing with injuries and managing your team at the very end of the season which wins these leagues.  Inevitably some player will surface who is not considered legit at the start of the season (Dak Prescott for instance) and might be critical at the end of the year.  My $00.02

I do have Hearns on my bench and A Rob as well. We'll be trailing in every game so they might put up some numbers.

God I'm so jealous. I was one pick away from grabbing Hunt in my league. Danggit! And who had Tropical Storm Alex?? lol
