Hello, new to the area again

Just wanted to say "Hi". I'm moving back to Jacksonville. I lived in upstate NY till 2006, moved to Jacksonville 2006-2008, then moved back to NY.  I never wanted to move away from Jacksonville. But my wife decided she hated it in Jacksonville. I just recently accept a job offer which will bring me back to Jacksonville.  I've hated NY for as long as I can remember and have hated it even more since returning. That being said I'm making this journey in my life alone. My wife has decided to not move with me. After 10 years of being married and 19 years being together it's time for a new start I guess.

Welcome back I know how your soon to be ex-wife feels I have lost the love I once felt for Jacksonville, Fl. and Florida in general but I stay for Family besides Florida may get better in the future?

Just move to Riverside, Avondale or San Marco, buy a kayak, and you'll never want to leave again. Good luck in your new adventure.

Thanks for all the encouraging words everyone. It's not going to be easy but I feel it's well worth it in the longer. I spent the last 10 years living the life that someone else wanted.
