^was just about to post that haha. Man, if there was ever a spot for a multiuse high-rise, I don't think a developer could ask for anything better. You could put up a 40-50 story building with hotel space, offices, a few shops/restaurants and apartments and sell it out due to its location/marketability/walkability. First floor shops, next 9-10 parking. Before someone tells me this will never happen, let me dream for a few minutes. Lol
lol, 40 to 50 stories? Yeah, that's not happening.
50 stories with an aquarium and observation deck on top!!

Where will the Bass Pro Shop go?

Adjacent to Fuddruckers.

Back to being serious:  I walked past today on the riverwalk and I am pretty disappointed with Wayne and Delores Weaver "Park".  It's just a strip of grass that slopes up to the Y from the riverwalk.  I hope they do more with that in the future.  It would be a great space for Yoga or active uses for the Y to utilize and passers by along the river.

^I was there today after 11. Incoming tide.  Parked in the Public two hour parking lot next to the Sydney Gefen FIND kayak launch. Walked up and Sunbelt was picking up some of the big equipment. Took a pic of the No Fishing sign in front of the Tillie Fowler piece of art. Beautiful day. Through in some Environmental Ethics-Vince Seibold. Picked up some garbage just laying there on the Riverwalk.

Visit Jacksonville! We aren't LOST.

That's funny. That explains the NO FISHING signs.
Does Putnam county know about this?

Captain Zissou

^Yeah I think the Baltimore guys told them.
