My name is (once more) Alejandro Ruiz. I will be unifiedthought here at Metrojacksonville.com.

I am a journalism English student at the University of North Florida. Currently I am working on finding exposure to multimedia-story formats. I will be taking a single-camera-production class next semester. Hopefully with next semester's experience I can, at some point, bring a great video/print story to Metrojacksonville.com.

For the most part I will be talking about community issues corresponding to the local beaches area. I hope to add a spark of ongoing in-depth coverage to those issues.  I will update on what you guys can expect out of me as soon as I can.

Finally, I hope anyone who is reading likes to think of things in a new direction. I map the paths that lead in and out of our forks on the road of life. In the end I do not intend to be biased. I intend to get to the bottom of whatever I bring to Metrojacksonville.com.

Thanks,
unifiedthought
"If I read a book [and] it makes my whole body so cold no fire ever can warm me, I know that is poetry. If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry. These are the only ways I know it.  Is there any other way?"

In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?
