Silly question, you have a super power to make only 1 thing happen immediately, what would it be?

New convention center
Skyway extension
Light rail
High speed rail connecting Jax to ATL, MIA or ORL
Something done with the ship yards
New major chain to the area (Macy's, Ikea, etc)
Anne little school restored/available for lease/rent
Ford assembly plant restored/available for lease/rent
Laura Trio restored/available for lease/rent

There were too many homes in the path of the Jets at Cecil Field, and after seeing a jet land in a neighborhood up there in Virginia, many of us on the westside were saying, "told you so". Jacksonville can thrive without the jets, yeah they are cool at the air shows and the maneuvers, but we do just fine with the Sub hunters and Helicopters at NASJAX.

I went with rail as I think it will have the greatest domino effect. My pet personal project would be the Laura Street Trio though.
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

Shipyards, seriously doubt anyone on this board will be alive to see a street car or LR in Jacksonville.

I am constantly amazed by the followers here.  Where is the discussion on the JaxPort or the Navy? After all, they are the Number 2 and Number 1 employers in Jacksonville.

Barring the choices presented in the poll, I would agree with you to the point that anything that brings massive economic gain to the local economy would help the development scene and city coffers.  Charleston is BOOMING right now in terms of population growth and subsequent feeder projects because of Boeing, its port and other recent big job creators.  It has 3,500 multifamily units UC right now, much of that is infill.  It has also been growing at a Raleigh/Austin rate the past couple years and is one of the major employment draws in the south right now.
