Air Force Thinks Twice: No aircraft plant for Jacksonville

Got to love the distinctive sound of a radial engine of any kind and I still look up to see what's flying by when I hear it.

First airplane I ever flew was a Fairchild F-2 with a radial engine.  I was so young that I couldn't see over the big cowling that surrounded the engine so couldn't taxi it on the ground;it being a tail-dragger.
