I may just strap on the styrofoam cooler and leave the tools at home.

If you want to do a bike caravan to the Intuition tailgate, let me know!  I've already attached my US flag to the bike in preparation of the event.

I will let you know when I buy my tickets. If you end up riding your bike I will throw a flag on mine and caravan it up there.

lucas...as others have said, you can lock your bike up on lamp posts or the fence....or GUESS WHAT....there are actually bike racks outside the north end zone!

I'll be cheering loudly for the USA, but I wouldn't mind imbibing something akin to the Edinburgh-ubiquitous Caledonian 80/* all weekend.

*Yes, fellow beer snobs, I know Caley isn't the world's best 80; just an example.
There are people from this brewery coming over. One plays the pipes in brewery pipe band. Ask for Craig with the pipes and the wee beard. Aka shakey.
Scotland - the only team in international football to go unbeaten for 9 years.

fsquid

Caledonian is a solid brewery

I just read on a TripAdvisor forum for Jacksonville travel that 45,000 tickets have been sold. Can anyone confirm this?

Also, according to the number of people posting on the TripAdvisor forum, it looks like there will be a good amount of Scots. Cool!

^ seriously doubt it has jumped 12,000+ in the last 2 days....but yes, there are expected to be about 3,000 Scots (and fans) in attendance...many are already here

I'm sure a lot are already here. They need at least 3 days of drinking before a game!  ;D

Probably, but there is a Jehovah's Witness convention at the Arena, so it might be full pretty quick.

Any ticket news update?
So I said to him: Arthur, Artie come on, why does the salesman have to die? Change the title; The life of a salesman. That's what people want to see.

They've been here for quite a few days.  Met some really cool Scotts last night at Intuition, and the Landing has been buzzing all week.

You aren't lying, their drinking has been very impressive.

^No kidding! Met two different guys in kilts at Chomp Chomp last night. This is going to be a great time.
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

Don't even like soccer, but I damn sure ain't letting those Scotts outdrink us in Lot J on Duval's hometurf.  #forAmerica
