The play to go for it on 4th down instead of kicking a field goal was, in my opinion, the turning point in the game.  We left a sure 3 pts. off the board and the Bills capitalized with a TD.  It was early in the game and I feel it cost us momentum.

Wasn't great that Little missed a field goal and that we didn't run the ball more, as I felt Trevor was struggling with his receivers today compared to our last few games and the Bills Achilles heal is the run.

I have to add that Josh Allen is a tank.  The push he made into the endzone with several people hanging on him and his fighting through so many injuries was impressive.  I am not sure the Bills would have one with most any other QB today given how physical the Jags were.

All the above said, the Jags gave it a great effort and an exciting season that exceeded all expectations. Hopefully, next year, we build on this year with more a more experienced crew.

Absolutely! This will eat Coen up!

We will be back.

Didn't have a problem with that 4th down play. Early in the game and it was that kind of aggressive play-calling that helped the Jags get to the playoffs in the first place. Even with that missed opportunity, Trevor's first INT, and the missed FG, the Jags still had 2 leads in the 4th quarter, but the gassed defense couldn't stop Buffalo's MVP quarterback when it needed to most.

Fun season. Hopefully Coen and company can keep moving the team forward.

I had all the confidence in the world that the Jaguars had what it takes to get up to that next level despite the nervousness of all my friends toward this game. And even though that confidence got shaken up throughout the game, I still had it even after the Bills got that touchdown to put them ahead and into that final last gasp Jaguar drive to reclaim the lead. Surrounded by hundreds of rabid Jags fans, you could have heard a pin drop after that last interception to seal our fate.

After the initial shock of the loss and after all the consoling and final goodbyes to friends and fellow fans, that was when the realty hit and the despair that this incredible run was over. I was going to head straight home but still so upset, so instead I just walked. And walked...and walked. There was one thing I figured I could do to totally get me out of this funk - and I swallowed hard dreading having to do this.

I went to the Buffalo Bills bar.

There were still quite a few hanging around, happy but chilling. I went in in full Jaguar gear, went up to Bills fans, looked them in the eye, and congratulated them on their win. They were all very gracious, complementing the Jaguars players and organization, said nice things about their visits to North Florida, but most importantly they understood our heartbreak but that their journey is far from over. I spent some time with them watching more playoff football, drinking their beer of choice (Labatt Blue Light), talking about our teams and our histories and traditions, and what it's like to be long suffering fans.

That was exactly what I needed. Perspective. For the first time since the late 90's we appear to have the leadership infrastructure and the
players with the discipline and mindset that we are in it this for the long haul. And if we reach those next levels of success, I will always remember and be thankful for the time it started to all come together.

I am so proud of the accomplishments of the 2025 Jacksonville Jaguars!
