Well, the homeless camps certainly don't help... but according to what I've been reading(just did a large public records request) most of the scientific studies pinpoint septic runoff as the primary suspect.

Exchange Club Island paddle on the 5th.  Also we are going to try to organize a large cleanup next month as well... stay tuned for details.

Putting in some extra hours at work right now, but once I get home later tonight I'll upload the pics from Saturday.  The four of us went underneath the Hyatt, played baseball on the river and swam with porpoises.  Not too bad for a rainy Saturday morning.

BTW, from the information that I've read it looked like Moncrief Creek was the worst of the batch for contamination.
