yes....but the City/County have always agreed....they just can't get the $ from the state!

From what's been mentioned so far, it seems like the D-Ray deal is a lot better than the Marlin's package.  I don't know how everything will play out, but if the state is going to dish out $60 million, it would be better to give it to a project where the team's financial investment funds most of it.  Especially when the project also includes redeveloping a 100 acre (give or take a few) urban tract that can possibly lead to the redevelopment of one of the state's largest blighted inner city neighborhoods.

There has been talk about a team in New Jersey also. Perhaps Newark.
