I like Court District.  It tells people where to go.
Not for long, right?  The County Courthouse is on the move to its new digs in a couple of years.

I call it East Bay.

Dashing Dan

I still like the Court District, but ...

No matter what, East Bay is what people are most likely to call it.

My concern is that the area is larger than East Bay Street.

From that list, I like East Bay or Actionville. East Bay because it's more of a name of the place. Actionville because I love semi-puns.

The thing I feel about giving places names like Actionville, or Awesome Sauce Place, or Superhappyfuntown is that you want to make sure that the area already lives up to this name before it gets that name. Otherwise it's just sad. I personally haven't spent time in Actionville yet, so I couldn't speak to whether it does measure up yet.  ;) I just wanted to give my thinking on such names.

Actionville could play into our movie history.

Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

I like "E-Bay" or "East Bay" personally; they aren't gimmicky or corny sounding.
