Jim Schoettler:
Numbers are being announced at Hogan HQ. Absentee Early voting...Alvin Brown 47 percent, Mike Hogan 53 percent.

Toney Sleiman to the TU reporter: "Sir, sir. Did you write down my numbers yet?" Sleiman earlier predicted a Hogan victory of 55% to 45%, give or take a percent.

Here's hoping all of us doing our GOTV thing can pull Alvin through!

Dont be scared, josh. Its NOT the end of the world. These next few days will give you the opportunity to take Jacksonville ahead, but, with all due respect, it will take (much) more than one who is elected Mayor. It will take Action by individuals. Like here in MetroJax. Whomever is elected WILL support us!
I know many will see my post here as an awful! metaphor, but we ARE on to something in these past months. This is our beginning!

Yeah, the 6 point Hogan trend is holding through the first 42 precincts coming in.  Not to sound too optimistic, but the core districts are usually the last to report their results.  It's still anybody's ballgame.

Josh, aside from the shrimp, that salad looks lovely.

Hmm that's a good question. I don't have a name for it yet, but I can guarantee you that it will be the salad that will never be made again.
