Didnt the same scenaria happen about a year ago with some chinese restaurants and sushi places over in Mandarin?

Stephen, you are right, it is slavery. In fact, this is another example of jobs that would/could go to others, going for people where the owner is so cheap, he feels he cannot survive without slave labor. I say, shutter this and every place like it in America!

I'm sick of hearing about "jobs that Americans don't want" during any discussion of immigration policy, when there is simply no such thing. What's really happening is the business owner doesn't want to pay American wages so they bring in illegal workers who work for cheap for awhile, eventually going home and taking it all with them. An actual US citizen can't do that, because "home" is here and it costs money to live here. This whole issue is really about greed.

Illegal, yes.  Slavery, come on.  They were not paying legal wages to illegal immigrants.  They were staying in some riverfront apartments.  I doubt they were being held against their will.  One guy said he hadn't been paid in two weeks, my God!

Slavery?  Really?
