I highly recommend the Jacksonville Light Parade Saturday night.  Great fun watching the decorated boats drive by and (my opinion) BEST fireworks show that Jax puts on...

In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Lot's of activity throughout Jacksonville Marina Mile just around the corner from Downtown (www.jacksonvillemarinamile.co) as boaters adorn their vessels.
Most waterfront communities throughout the nation have placed vessels in winter storage while here in Jacksonville we enjoy one of the most inviting water activities of the year.........

Does anyone know the Skyway and/or Riverside Trolley hours during the Light Parade?

Ocklawaha

"The Skyway will make 3 trips from San Marco station to Jefferson Street on Saturday afternoon and will stop to discharge and receive passengers holding foreign line tickets, and passengers from Waycross and stations beyond..."

Ock is having another one of those flashbacks to his hippie daze!

Remember, the area around Friendship Fountain is torn up, taking away some prime viewing space.

oh yea....they wont let people in the area?

Not the parking, but the park area around the fountain, including a section of the Southbank Riverwalk.
