'Taj Mahal' Courthouse?

It is unfair to compare the Taj Mahal with any of these buildings except for the sense of being outrageously expensive.

The Taj is not just another building.  I was reluctant to see "just another building" but was persuaded and glad of it later.  The Taj is simply one of the most beautiful buildings in the world.  Every proportion and detail is perfect.  Seeing it is a near spiritual experience.  Pictures absolutely do not do it justice because they cannot capture the scale.  The most fantastic cathedrals in Europe are warthogs by comparison.  The walls inside are actually have beautiful patterns of semi-precious stone inlaid into the white marble.

Shah Jihan nearly bankrupted his kingdom building it and when he revealed his plans to build a tomb for himself similar to the Taj, but of black marble just across the river from the Taj, his eldest son overthrew him and locked him up for the rest of his life.  That's one way to stop over spending.
