The BK on Union St. has begun renovations. Only the drive-thru is open.

It needs it. The place is a  dump, but the service has always been great there.

yes, compare any Burger King to say a  Chick Filla or even the New MCdonalds, and they are dumpy.

I have actually driven downtown to go to that BK versus going to the one right near my house. That's how bad the one at King and Forbes is.

??? I dont understand. They were both just regular Burger Kings.....What was so dumpy about them?

... possibly b/c every time I go in the King Street Burger King it smells like they haven't taken the trash out from the night before, no one ever sweeps the floor, or maybe even b/c it takes forever and a day to get your order b/c no one pays attention to you while you're standing at the counter trying to order.

But, maybe riversideloki has had better experiences than I   ;)

I've gone to the King Street BK like 40 minutes before the close of breakfast service and been told "We're out of biscuits."  I've also pulled into the drive through nearly an hour before closing, sat at the speaker with no response, driven to the window and had a guy sweeping the floor look up at me, then just go back to sweeping.  Service so bad it's actually humorous.

I have a Good One i posted on Jacksonville confidential once..proving things were no better 8 years ago.
There was a Burger King sandwich of unknown origin..stuck just under the second drive-through window.
i saw this bun stuck up there for at least 3 days!!?? (It was before i had a camera phone but was witnessed by several other individuals)
