This is the nurse, Greta, Ocklawaha is here and doing well. He might be here a few weeks.
We wish him well.
Our thoughts are with you... get well soon! :)
Get well soon Bob... :)
Best wishes for a quick and full recovery!
Hurry back - there are cages that need rattling!
Get better soon, my friend.
(what is the problem?)
Oh no, what happened? Is Bob OK?
My best and most heartfelt wishes for a speedy recovery!
750 ml Rebel Yell! Stat!

Get well soon!!!!
You're in my thoughts and prayers, Bob
and mine, Ock.. you know you are loved and well-thought of. Whatever is going on, Hope you are better soon, and back keeping the pot stirred.....We need that sort of goings on at all times :P
Ock..hope you get better soon!
Get well soon, Ock! I am going to be riding the rails to Orlando this month and will be thinking of you.
Hang in there Ock and know that we're thinking about you.
Ock-
Wishing you a clear track to recovery in the switching yard
Thank you all for the kind thoughts and prayers... while I'm not out of the woods, I am out of the hospital -perhaps the longest 3 weeks of my life! Hopefully I will be back in the saddle on MJ tomorrow.

Ocklaservations?
Why is the hospital food decent the first 3 days then like a cafe from hell the rest of your stay?
This mornings fare was some kind of little half round patties which looked like burnt toast. The small yellow splotches in their centers gave away their poultry origins... "sliced brittle cheese eggs with a serious case of erectile dysfunction. served over a bed of CRUNCHY grits... with a side of lumpy cream of wheat."
At long last, I have learned where the Army cooks go when they leave the military.
Future military enemy's and terrorists should immediately adopt a policy of severeist punishment for any soldier who brings injury to an American hospital cook.
Plastic mattresses and covers designed and STUFFED by the Wooten Fiber Works materials division at the Sunbeam Road Prison work training facility.
COJ Parking meters alongside the toliets? Talk about the long-brown mile?
A total ban on iced tea in the corridors but tea and coffee makers in the cafe's AND patient lounges, therapy,
PT, ortho and other spaces... no such ban on coffee! Reasons? TEA ATTRACTS ANTS! (apparently only in hallways mind you)
Nurses named Sally, Gretta and Alice are fine to an extreme, I didn't feel any of the 2,405,251 shots they gave me.
Ever notice that x-ray machines mounted on the ceiling and huge files mounted on the floors are BOTH types of rail transit.
Jacksonville's progressiveness, mass transit, football successes, downtown plan and scenic wonders are directly proportionate to the amount of opiate flowing in ones bloodstream.
Wow, and I came home to a beautiful little silver flask sent to me gratis by the good people of REBEL YELL along with a membership certificate in the "Band of Rebels." Wonder if it's legal to carry iced tea in it?
OCKLAWAHA
Ock, hope you're feeling better soon.
But I thought you were a southern boy, why not just have a shot of whiskey and get back to work? :)
j/k, get better!
Ock.....youre in my thoughts and prayers... Get well :)

Full steam ahead. Hope your feeling better.
The green ball is up - open the throttle, Ock.
Welcome back to the outside world Ock! Hope you get better real real soon! Two and a half jiggers of "Rebel Yell" will kill most of the germs in the world, guess you have been dealing with the other half? Slow and easy till you get your feet back under you big guy!
:D Great to read that post Ock! Welcome back! :)
Glad you're getting your footing back beneath you Ock! :)
So that's the secret that gave those young southern men their strength...bourbon made with Wheat instead of Rye. ;)
No offense Ock, but it was nice to read a series of posts without going through your internet art collection!
Which do you spend more time on? Writing the post, or finding the photos to include with them? ::) ::)
Get Well Soon.

I happen to love Ock's photos. What a nasty and unnecessarily vitriolic thing to say about someone who devotes so much time to educating people who otherwise wouldn't have a clue about Florida railroad and transit history. I for one love his posts.

I have a wonderful sarcasm detector, and it works rather well thanks.
That wasn't tongue in cheek, it was just plain rude, considering he's been in the hospital.

Teasing one about some unique characteristic they bring to MJ is not rude unless one takes themselves too serious.
A few smileys and a get well soon should be adequate enough to convey my intent.

Had they been actual smileys and not "rollseyes" I'd agree...
For Ocklawaha, as they always say...
