Post by: Ernest Street on September 21, 2010, 09:56:34 PM
I couldn't find anything in a search... anyone know anything about the EH Thompson building directly behind the Park View Inn?
It has a spectacular view of Confederate Park..what was it, and who owns it??

It was the original Claude Nolan Cadillac building.  It was designed by H.J. Klutho and constructed in 1912.  I believe Chris Hionides owns it today.

I have a great picture somewhere looking down th sid of this building with Hogan's crek running along side (Hogans is real cute right there), overlayed with some retail and cafes on the creek. It is fantastic, but I can;t find it.

EH Thompson was a commercial kitchen supply company. It was sold to a company down south.

Is the property subject to the same ground contamination issues as the Park View?
