I never knew Burger King started in Jacksonville.  I remember in 1966 I ate my first Burger King Whopper; it was 99 cents back then. And it was good.  The burger was so good and so big it filled out past the edge of the buns (unlike today). Good to know Jacksonville gave birth to the "have it your way" whopper.
