I do the "other" film festival in town -- the one that screens Laurel & Hardy and Buster Keaton movies twice a month, for free, with free snacks and sodas for all visitors -- unpretentiously, at no admission charge -- which I feel is why, other than EU and Folio Weekly, every other media outlet in town can't even be bothered to give me a simple blurb, much less a write-up. So I've given up on them and am doing it my own way.
