You know, my favorite Springfield Halloween event ever is still Rita Reagans, Springfield Night Time Alley Tour.
It was back when the neighborhood was a serious crime district, and people wouldnt drive down main street without all their doors completely locked.
The idea was to tour the alleys along main street at night, and her actual advertisement was
"And you thought Springfield Scared the Hell Out of You During the Day!?!?"
Stephen,
Thanks for volunteering! I look forward to getting your input and working with you.
The alley tour ylou mentioned sounds great -- and I love the tag line... I'd love to hear more about what she did and the stories she told.

If you want to have a pumpkin patch in the community garden that would be cool. Also, when are you planning this? We wanted to have a harvest fest in the garden in October, maybe we can coordinate dates?
At the harvest fest we were going to have a pumpkin patch and have the kids do a scarecrow contest FYI
That sounds great! We had actully discussed doing a pumpkin patch in the community garden. We plan on the event taking place the weekend before Halloween, October 22-24. Please send a private message and lets set a time to discuss.
