Also what are the positions of those who appear to be frontrunners?
right now that is an unknown....I think that Moran, Mullaney, and Bailey are all pro-downtown to one extent or another.....but none of them has spoken publicly about the need for better mass transit.
I see Hogan will probably be the frontrunner with his wealth of political experience.
Hasn't Glorious spoken publicly about the need for transit?
Johnson mentioned it during her speech at the Five Points theater a few months ago. Right before Mullaney publicly announced his intention to run, he called MJ up and spent four hours with us on it at Three Layers on a random Saturday. We've also sat down with Moran and Bailey to try and sell them on the idea that mass transit spurs economic development, downtown revitalization, increases property values and job growth. All things that Jax needs.
Hogan will probably cut back before investing in quality of life offerings.

right now, I'm not sure she counts as a major candidate...she's raised less than $5,000
Guess its about money
