Cool... this warrants a visit!
what are their hours of operation?
Very impressive! If you take your kids there, they might never leave though
Awesome! If I had kids, they would love it. I think you've got to be high when picking the colors to mimic Alice in Wonderland - but it definitely works. Great job.
Pete was out at Art Walk last night....making cotton candy!

If I remember correctly it is like 10 or 11 until 7PM at this time and closed on Mondays, but they did tell us they were looking to stay open until later possibly 8 pm.
What a pioneering spirit! Imagine if there was a whole row of kids oriented shop-homes here, nearby the refurbished Springfield park. Maybe a merry go round somewhere nearby or kids ride. Is city kidz nearby? Maybe the city can do something to incentivize this area as sort of kids attraction. Maybe another house is a classic arcarde. Maybe another is a classic FUN HOUSE. Etc, etc.
Wow-we can't wait to check this place out!
This looks insane!!
Can't wait to stop by and try some of Pete's creations. Based on pictures and the bit about the sundaes, I'm assuming there is a small soda shop inside?? That would be a great place to spend a Saturday afternoon.
What about the other homes nearby - are they zoned for business also? Make the whole block a carnival of fun and historic homes.
Most properties on Pearl are zone CRO, commercial/residential
Their chocolate creations are every bit as good as Peterbrooke and the sea salt caramels are addictive.
I have not tried any of their hard candies...YET!

What a GREAT idea. Peyton wanted to do something similiar to the Landing, but this would be MUCH more appropriate location. Chattanooga has a turn of the century Merry Go Round that is a real draw. R.E. is cheap in the area right now, so NOW is the time to try somehting like this.
i hope there's a chocolate river inside the house and shnozberry flavored wallpaper!

Sweet Pete's is going to be on WJCT radio (NPR) this morning in the 9 o'clock hour some time after the news. If you don't have a radio handy, you can listen online at www.wjctondemand.org.
The grand opening party was great. I think the sea salt caramels were my favorite treats of the night.

Veruca Salt would be a great street name for transgendered prostitute,
or a specialty margarita.
it's already been the name ov a boring mid-'90s alt-rock band.

Volcano Girls, Shutter?
can not remember these songs for the life of me
Volcano Girls was great.
I don't see a website for Sweet Pete's but hopefully the FB page, article, etc. will attract people to try it. This makes a great addition to the neighborhood!
Their ice cream sundaes are fantastic!
