The majority of the 100 places listed had populations of between 40,000 and 100,000. Wondering about whether any Florida cities listed? If you're thinking about large cities or even mid-sized cities listing, forget it. Only one Florida city of over 100,000 listed, and that was Coral Springs. Only two other Florida cities listed and they were Coconut Creek and Wellington.

The majority of the cities listed had low employment, low crime, pretty vibrant urban cores/downtowns, and numerous civic attractions and/or public amenities to keep the populace busy or to attract outsiders.
