Title: Cuts to Rail Spending

Last week House Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation, Housing and Urban Development made several cuts to rail projets and shifted $4.1 billion to highways!

Looks like they approved more on rail than Obama asked for, less than Amtrak asked for and less than the year the Stimulus funds were approved. Not as fast as we would like but definitely fund rail at higher levels than in past administrations.

Well we know we are getting $1 Billion + for Rat Rail............oops.....I mean so-called HSR Orlando way or Tampa or where the hell it is! System from nowhere to nowhere...........good useage of our tax dollars! Don't forget we get to subsidize for operating also.............yahoo!
