Post by: henry318 on July 04, 2010, 10:46:40 AM
It’s not often that US presidents visit Jacksonville, but both Presidents Clinton and Bush will appear during this season of the Florida Forum.  Equally anticipated is the third speaker of the series, the very popular Greg Mortenson, who has been nominated for the Noble Peace Prize and is the author of the best-selling Three Cups of Tea. Tickets are available to the public through http://www.thefloridaforum.com or call 202-2886.  The series benefits Wolfson Children’s Hospital.

It's an annual  speaking series that has brought big names to Jacksonville for many years.  Speakers have included Gen. Colin Powell, Katie Couric, First Lady Barbara Bush and Secretary of State Madeline Albright.  The tickets are sold as a package for all 3 evenings. The dates and ticket information are on the website.  It's a unique opportunity to see Greg Mortenson and two former US Presidents in person.
