This is good news.
The planetarium is my favorite attraction at MOSH. It is always a joy, though you've seen it before.
It helps remind us that we are truly "floating in space".
Well, it's about time.
I will avoid the double entedre title though.
This is pretty exciting news. The museum/planetarium rennovations combined with Friendship Fountain/Park improvements means new reasons to visit the South bank!
Loved me some cosmic concerts back in the day for sure.
Yes ....they were great!! When I was in High School we came to them every weekend and the place was packed. a few years ago I came to one and there was hardly anyone there. Would love to see them revived ... :)
I wish they would expand their building. Everything seems so cramped in there. Looking at the lot, it seems like plentyof room available. I would like to see more "history" added to the museum of science and history. An exhibit on Lavilla, or one on our hollywood years would be wonderful.
^ I think the 'history' part will transfer to the new Jacksonville museum at the Landing. In the future maybe the two will be able to collaborate on a larger scale dual museum, but for now I think we should avoid duplicating functions in order to keep from cannibalizing each other.
