Title: A year later...strong evidence of mourning remains.

A year ago, today, Kiko Battles was shot and killed outside of his grandmother's house on West 18th Street.

This memorial to him has not been neglected, but rather has grown.

If he was just a bad seed, as some say, his neighborhood evidently doesn't agree.  It appears he is greatly missed.
