Title: Budding New Urbanist & Returning Jacksonvillan
Post by: gridsketch on June 06, 2010, 11:10:44 PM
Hi All,

I grew up on the westside now in Murray Hill am a proud an alumnus of Douglas Anderson and Stanton. UF Arch Grad school was interesting but I think cities might be more interesting than buildings. I miss the light rail in Baltimore and the metro in DC but busses here are promissing. I'm starting a blog about art and urbanism in Jax and hope to contribute in words images and ideas. I'm pledging to park my SUV as much as possible and commit to bike walk and bus. And please forgive my typing I internet on a kindle.

Love this site.

Hi, Dennis. I enjoyed perusing your blog. I especially liked the one called "Brain Drain and Freight Trains."

Welcome.  Your blog looks great.  i love the comparison between Laura St and SJTC.  I had no idea the sizes of the two were so similar.  Glad to have you aboard.
